Chiropractic

Cracking. Popping. Clicking.

Call it whatever makes sense to you. Chiropractic has so many definitions and perceptions, both across the medical field and our patients alike.

Here's our definition:

We work with the nervous system by way of the spine to correct misalignments that impact the entire body.

Here's why it matters:

The spine is the housing for the nervous system. It's like the electric panel in your house. It's where all of the current comes in and gets distributed to all the rooms in your home.

When you adjust the switches in the box, you can impact how much current flows to various places.

Did you know that the weight of a dime on a nerve can reduce its conducting capacity by as much as 60%?

Keeping your nerves freely flowing is vital to the health of your entire body. Chiropractic does this by finding and fixing areas of your spine that are negatively impacting the flow of your nerves.

Chiropractic adjustments are not the be-all-end-all to your body's health. However, if you're not considering your spine as a significant contributing factor to your wellness, you are missing a critical factor.

Who It's For

Chiropractic is for everyone. All ages at every stage of life can benefit from treating their spine and nervous system well.

While it's most common to be adjusted because of pain, chiropractic is not just for people who have injured their backs. Preventative care and maintenance are just as important.

We're particular advocates for pediatric adjustments. We believe that every newborn should be screened for spinal misalignment since they can't speak for what they are feeling themselves.

What does it help?

Chiropractic is an optimal route for success in areas like:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Poor sinus drainage

  • And so much more!

What to expect

Our first priority is to relieve pain as fast as possible. This is typically done within 1-2 adjustments.

Our goal is to provide a baseline for what it feels like to feel "right."

After that, your plan varies based on how you use your body. Our recommendations for frequency and maintenance will be customized for your unique situation.

Rest assured that we will never over-prescribe, over-adjust or leverage a pre-set treatment plan.
